An experienced global leader and expatriate executive, I have enabled business growth across diverse customer, competitive, regulatory, and cultural environments. My global experience encompasses leadership of multiple business models in medical device, technology, and industrial and consumer products in mid-cap and Fortune 200 companies.
I recently founded Wright Consulting, LLC, formed to assist Fortune 200 global companies develop strategies and plans to grow revenue and efficiently build infrastructure to increase shareholder value. Previously, at Medtronic, PLC (NYSE: MDT), a $32B Fortune 200 Company, I was the CFO of a $9B Neurosciences global business portfolio, where we drove $1.5B revenue growth in 4 years. I focused investments on higher market growth R&D programs and strategic acquisitions, and improved operating profit margins by 1,000bps by developing shared services and operating practices to improve performance.
Prior to Medtronic, at Thomson Reuters (NYSE: TRI) a $13B global news and intelligent information provider, I was SVP, Corporate Business Operations Services. In this role, I drove $60M of savings through creation of a shared service center in Costa Rica and an expanded center in Hyderabad, India. Previous to the SVP role, I was CFO for the $3.5B global Legal Business Unit. Earlier, at Honeywell International (NYSE: HON), I was the CFO of a $2.4B building services business unit, and as an expatriate residing in London, England the CFO of a $300M Northern Europe building services and solutions business unit. Intent on delivering beyond financial results, I was awarded the prestigious Lund Award excellence in talent and leadership development.
